Improved Control of Microbial Exposure Hazards in Hospitals: A 30-Month Field Study

The data from this study show that significant control of airborne microorganisms results from the modification or interior building surfaces with an organosilicon antimicrobial. Even when evaluated under severe environmental conditions, the antimicrobial activity of these modified surfaces provides substantive reduction of airborne microbial concentration. The initial reduction of airborne microorganisms and the sustained control of microbial levels during the 30 months of this study are unprecedented in the literature. When viewed collectively, the safety, efficacy, and durability of this technology provide a unique opportunity to control the risks associated with microbial contamination in buildings.

Bacterial Plate Testing
Through the use of ‘before and after’ ATP and Bacterial Plate Testing our Specialist Hygiene Team are able to quickly, and without exception, demonstrate the efficacy of our hygiene solutions.
ATP Testing is a rapid testing method used by Hygiene Auditors to quickly assess the cleanliness of surfaces. ATP monitoring is used in facilities to confirm that ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) presence is eliminated or minimised by effective sanitation procedures. ATP monitoring is measured in Reflective Luminosity Units (RLU). Bacterial Plate testing is a method used to measure the amount of bacteria on a surface. We take a swab of the treated surface and test it to determine the level of bacteria. The result is measured in Colony Forming Units (CFU).

Our workplace is cleaned once a day. Why would I need your services?
Most conventional cleaning products evaporate within 5 minutes after application and provide no ongoing protection against germs and bacteria.
